Golf Outing Monday, May 24th at Springfield Country Club This years St. Luke Golf Classic sponsored by The Original Philadelphia Cheesesteak Company is once again quickly approaching. We will be teeing off at the Springfield Country Club on Monday, May 24, 2004, at 9:00 AM. If you have not registered yet and are planning on attending please contact George Kevgas at 610-564-1795 or Scott Derossi at 484-432-1186. There are several sponsorship opportunities still available as well. We are looking forward to another wonderful event and hope to see everyone there.

Mother`s Day Reception Today In honor of our Mothers, all are invited to attend a luncheon following todays Divine Liturgy.

This Summer`s VBS date... VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: It’s time to register for our VBS 2004 program, which will be held from August 2nd – 5th from 9-11:30am. You may register your child during Coffee Hour this week, or call Presbytera Michele at 610-429-9085 or Kathy Martin at 610-789-1848. All participants should be 5 years old by September 1st.



J.O.Y. June 5th event J.O.Y.`s final event of the season will take place on Saturday, June 5, at 1:30 at Mr. Tee’s Golf, 707 Conshohocken Road, Conshohocken, 19428. Rain date is Sunday, June 6, at 1:30. We would LOVE to have you join us. JOY members can enjoy this outing free of charge, siblings and friends will be charged a fee of $6.50. GREEK AFFAIR MONASTERAKI GREEK AFFAIR MONASTERAKI: Please begin to gather good, usable household items for this year’s Monasteraki. We regret that we cannot accept clothing or furniture—a good guideline is to bring in items that can be carried easily with one arm. You can bring these items in BEGINNING MONDAY, MAY 24TH, AFTER SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES ARE OVER because we use the classrooms for storage of these items and have no room for them before May 24.



Master Building Plan of St. Luke`s MEMBERS OF THE MASTER PLANNING COMMITTEE: will be available every Sunday during Coffee Hour to discuss the progress being made on plans for the Educational Building and the phasing of your building dreams. Please join us after church services to see the plans and hear about our vision.

Vacation Bible School

For Those In Need FOR THOSE IN NEED: “Springtime Drive” – You are invited to support a drive for personal care items to benefit the residents of The Life Center and City Team. Toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap, shampoo, hair brushes, combs, disposable razors, q-tips, deodorant, feminine hygiene products and baby diapers are needed. Place your contributions in the marked boxes located under the stairs leading to the Educational Building. Thank you for supporting endeavors that touch the lives of those less fortunate. Next meal preparation: Wednesday, May 12th, 6:00pm. This session is sponsored in loving memory of Sophie Bertas, by her sisters Anne Trivelis, Mary Rennis and Helen Bertas. We welcome all volunteers as we prepare a meal for the clients of the Life Center of Delaware County.



Greek School Spring Trip, May 22nd GREEK SCHOOL: Saturday, May 22, 2004 – Spring Trip – save this date! Trip to Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty and dinner in Greek restaurant. Limited seating, please return your forms ASAP; please contact Angelique Demetris at 610-935-0160 or ademetris@aol.com.

YEARBOOKS: In order to defer the cost of this year’s edition, the PTO is asking for donations of $10.00. A business card can be included as an ad. Also, parents with photographs from events of 2003-2004 may contribute these pictures to be included in this year’s book. Don’t’ forget to reserve your copy of this year’s yearbook. GRADUATES’ SUNDAY: May 23, 2004 Scott DeRossi, DMD, will address this year’s graduates following Divine Liturgy. A reception will be held in the Community center following Dr. DeRossi’s presentation. Please join us on this special day as we acknowledge the accomplishments of our graduates.
