Resurrectional Apolytikion Third Tone
Let the heavens rejoice and the earth be glad, for the Lord by His Might, has created a Dominion. He has conquered death by death, and become the first-born of the dead. He has delivered us from the depths of Hades, and has granted the world great mercy.

Apolytikion for The Forefeast of the Nativity of the Theotokos

Both Heaven and the earth rejoice together now. Praise her, O ye tribes of nations here below. The righteous Joachim rejoiceth, and Anna keepeth feast, crying out: The barren beareth the Theotokos, the nourisher of our life.

Apolytikion of the Church

For since Nicodemus had said, "We know that Thou art a teacher come from God," on this very point He sets him  ...Read Full Text >

"Let no one, conscious of a sinfulness, withdraw from our common celebration, nor let anyone be kept away from our public prayer by the burden of his guilt. Sinner he may be indeed, but he must not despair of the heart especially on this day which is so highly privileged. For if a thief could receive the grace of paradise, how could a Christian be refused forgiveness?"
