Resurrectional Apolytikion
Eternal with the Father and the Spirit is the Word, Who of a Virgin was begotten for our salvation. As the faithful we both praise and worship Him; for in the flesh did He consent to ascend unto the cross, and death did He endure. And He raised unto life the dead through His all glorious Resurrection.
Apolytikion of the Church
Facing danger at sea and fearful persecution, you became a chosen vessel of the Savior. With your sermons you enlightened the nations, and to the Athenians you revealed the unknown God. Teacher of the nations, St. Paul the Apostle, protector of us all: keep us who honor you safe from every trial and danger.
Kontakion
Let us flee the boastful words of the Pharisee and learn humility from the sighs of the Publican. Let us cry out to the Savior: “Spare us, for You alone are rich in forgiveness!”
