“In the Footsteps of St. Paul: A Pilgrimage” If you are interested in taking a pilgrimage to walk in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul for 16 days, from May 29th – June 13th, 2005, please contact the Church Office. We will be visiting Athens, where St. Paul preached on the Areopagus (Acts 17:16-23); Corinth, where St. Paul decided to begin his missionary work among the Gentiles (Acts 18:6); Thessaloniki, where St. Paul preached in the winter of 49-50AD; and Rome, where he was eventually executed for the faith and is now buried under the altar of St. Paul’s-outside-the-Walls, a Roman Catholic church. We will venerate the relics of St. Demetrios in Thessaloniki, spend a day sailing around Mt. Athos, the 1,000 year old monastic republic, visit the monasteries of Meteora, as well as visit the Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel in Rome and much more.
