Resurrectional Apolytikion
O Lord, by Your sacred cross You abolished death and granted unto the thief blessed paradise. The Myrrh-bearers ceased lamenting and turned to joy. The apostles did preach the Good News at Your command, that You had risen from the dead, Christ our God, bestowing Your mercy on the world evermore.

Apolytikion of the Church
Facing danger at sea and fearful persecution, you became a chosen vessel of the Savior. With your sermons you enlightened the nations, and to the Athenians you revealed the unknown God. Teacher of the nations, St. Paul the Apostle, protector of us all: keep us who honor you safe from every trial and danger.

Kontakion
When You come to the earth, O God, in Your glory, all creation will tremble and a river of fire will flow before Your throne of judgment. The books will be opened and the secrets of all will be revealed. On that day, O just Judge, deliver me from eternal flames and make me worthy to stand at Your right.
