Resurrectional Apolytikion
Eternal with the Father and the Spirit is the Word, Who of a Virgin was begotten for our salvation. As the faithful we both praise and worship Him; for in the flesh did He consent to ascend unto the cross, and death did He endure. And He raised unto life the dead through His all-glorious Resurrection.

Apolytikion for Zacharias the Prophet & Righteous Elizabeth, parents of St. John the Baptist
As a priest according to the Law of God you offered up whole burnt offerings and they were most acceptable to Him, dressed in the vestments of priesthood, O Zacharias. And you became a light, and you beheld mysteries, and clearly you displayed the signs and symbols of grace within yourself. And you were assassinated with a sword in the Temple of God. O all wise Prophet of Christ with the Forerunner, intercede that our souls be saved.

Apolytikion of the Church
Facing danger at sea and fearful persecution, you became a chosen vessel of the Savior. With your sermons you enlightened the nations, and to the Athenians you revealed the unknown God. Teacher of the nations, St. Paul the Apostle, protector of us all: keep us who honor you safe from every trial and danger.

Kontakion
Your holy birth delivered Joachim & Anna from the reproach of childlessness, and liberated Adam and Eve from death’s corruption, O Pure One. Thus freed from the stain of sin, we your people honor your birth crying out to you: a woman thought barren brings forth the Theotokos who nourishes Christ our Life.

Apolytikion for The Nativity of Our Most Holy Lady the Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary
Your birth, O Theotokos, brought joy to the whole world, for from you dawned the sun of righteousness, Christ our God. Freeing us from the curse, He gave us His blessings. Abolishing death, He granted us eternal life. -Translation by Narthex Press
