BLOOD DRIVE
One of our parishioners, Mrs. Koula Papamanolis, is in need of type A+ blood with antibodies.Donors with A+, A-, O+, O-will be screened for teh directed donation. If you are interested in donating blood please contact Fr. Bill for arrangements through the American Red Cross or call 1 800 448 3543. Even if you are a suitable donor for Mrs. Papmanolis, any type of blood donation will be accepted and used for other needy patients as well.

STEWARDSHIP
Stewardship envelopes are now available in the narthex. See a Parish Council member if you need them now. NOTE: STEWARDSHIP SUNDAY IS NOVEMBER 23RD! Signed Pledge Cards for 2009 will be collected then.

YIAYIA’S KITCHEN BAKING
Baking for the annual Philoptochos Yiayia’s Kitchen has begun. Please come to help and share in the special camaraderie enjoyed during these preparations. Please call Fotini Baba-Floudas at 609 683-5189 or the Parish Office at 609 586-4448 for further details and to verify the baking dates.

GOYA HOLIDAY PIE & CAKE SALE
Leave the baking to A&M Farms this holiday season! Order their delicious pies and cakes from GOYA. Our annual fundraiser starts October 19th and orders can be placed during the Fellowship Hour each Sunday through November 16th. All orders will be ready for pickup on Sunday, November 23rd. SPECIAL CELEBRATION EVENT SAVE THE DATE:
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH
Hierarchical Divine Liturgy on the feast of Saint John Chrysostom Orthros at 9a.m. and Divine Liturgy at 10:15a.m. followed by a Philoptochos sponsored luncheon.
Please join Metropolitan Evangelos and area clergy from the Delaware Valley and New Jersey Greek Orthodox Churches on this celebration of the Patron Saint of our Metropolis.

6th ANNUAL YAL MITTEN TREE
6th Annual YAL Mitten Tree: From November 16th through December 21th, the Young Adult League of St George Trenton will set up a Mitten Tree in the Hellenic Cultural Center. Please help decorate our tree by kindly donating new hats, scarves, mittens, gloves and socks. All items collected will be donated to United Way of Greater Mercer County. DATE CHANGE SENIOR LUNCHEON
Due to preparations for Yiayia’s Kitchen and other events, it has become necessary to change the date of the Senior Thanksgiving Luncheon from Tuesday, Nov. 11th to Thursday, Nov. 20th. Helen Calagias is chairperson. Please call her at 215 493-3508 to let her know if you can attend. Cost is $10.00 per person.

YIAYIA’S KITCHEN
Sts. Anargyroi Philoptochos proudly presents Yiayia’s Kitchen on Nov. 14, 15, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Please join us with your friends and families, not only for a fun filled and delicious experience, but also to help the Philoptochos continue with their many charitable works. You will enjoy food and pastries lovingly prepared, all of which can be taken out and enjoyed later. We have a flea market, full of treasures for your buying pleasure and possible gift giving for the holidays. The St. George youth dance group will perform Greek dances in authentic costumes during the two day event.
