Orthodoxy 101 A Study of Faith This week only we will be meeting on Wednesday after Divine Liturgy instead of our usual Tuesday night. Anyone interested in learning more about our faith is welcome to attend class.


2010 Stewardship Drive Our annual Stewardship drive for 2010 has begun. Thank you to all that have made their pledge for the coming year. For those of you that haven't yet pledged for the coming year, pledge forms can be found in the Narthex. Your stewardship commitment in support of St. Basil is a vital part of advancing the work of our Parish and of our Orthodox community at large. Thank you for your love of our Church and for your generous commitment.

Ladies Philoptochos Society News Coat Drive- The annual Winter Coat Drive is being held until December 6th. Please bring your new or gently used winter coat to the hall.

Food Drive- Parishioners are encouraged to donate non perishable food items that will be donated to appropriate pantries. Food items can be dropped in the donation bin located in the Philoptochos Hall.


Day of Philantropy On December 9, 2009, the Hellenic American Leadership Council (HALC) will be offering pro bono professional services to Greek-Americans and other Orthodox Christians in need at St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church, located at 5649 N. Sheridan Rd. in Chicago, IL 60660. Doctors, dentists and lawyers will be on hand offering their services. For more information go to http://www.hellenicleaders.com/humanitarian or see Father Chris.
