The Welcoming Committee is now a year old, and our weekly interaction with the Cathedral community has been a rewarding experience for us all. We do hope that we have helped church members and guests feel welcome. We would like to expand the committee and are seeking new members. Parishioners who are interested, and are able to commit to at least one Sunday a month, are invited to call the church office. The Welcoming Committee reaches out to guests and new members by providing each person with a cross lapel clip to wear during the service and at the coffee hour. Please take the time to look for anyone wearing a cross clip and make them feel welcome. Together we can make the Cathedral a place where everyone feels at home!
The Golden Circle resumed on Wednesday, September 2, 2009
The Cathedral School registration, grades N-8, has begun for the 2009/2010 school year. Please call (212) 249-2840, e-mail at info@cathedralschoolny.org, visit our website at www.cathedralschoolny.org or simply inquire within.
If you have not already done so, please complete a 2009 Stewardship/Membership Application to the Holy Trinity Cathedral at your earliest opportunity. The application may be found in the Narthex.
We thank you and are grateful for your support!

______________________
Why do we judge our neighbors? Because we shun knowing ourselves. Someone busy trying to understand himself has no time to notice the shortcomings of others. Judge yourself — and you will stop judging others. Judge a poor deed, but do not judge the doer. It is necessary to consider yourself the most sinful of all, and to forgive your neighbor every poor deed.

LIVE TELEVISION BROADCAST EVERY SUNDAY
LIVE TELEVISION BROADCAST EVERY SUNDAY
The Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Cathedral is broadcast live on television every Sunday morning from 10:00am to 12:00 Noon Special Services also broadcast on the internet throughout the year. This has necessitated the installation of cameras and sensitive microphones and speakers throughout the Cathedral. We ask that you be aware of this and respectfully ask that the Service not be disrupted by cell phones, beepers and excessive movement. The Liturgy may be seen in the undercroft of the Church if children are crying or restless.
