ST. NICHOLAS GIVING TREE The Reason for the Season: The St. Nicholas Giving Tree Returns to our Parish!
Today, November 23 and 30-the names of 200 children of all ages, under the care of the Mass. Department of Children and Families, will be available for selection by the caring families and individuals of our St. Demetrios parish.
Please plan to sponsor at least one child.
This is the best lesson in the true spirit of giving for our children to emulate and as Christian adults it provides a beautiful expression of God’s charge to us to spread His love.

Dec. 3rd: Join us for “A Salem Cross Christmas”!
We’ll travel to Spencer, MA, and enjoy a festive shopping experience at Oakwood Farm, a wonderful full-course luncheon at Salem Cross Inn and a Christmas light display.

THANKSGIVING INTERFAITH SERVICE Monday, Nov. 24th, 7:00 p.m. at the First Parish Church, 349 Boston Post Rd., Weston.
Join our parishioners, local clergy, friends, and neighbors for an hour of thanksgiving and fellowship.

ORTHODOX LIFE SERIES: LOOKING AHEAD Join Fr. Alex on Dec. 2nd, 9th and 16th, 7-8:30 pm, for an exploration of contemporary music, mores and spirituality: “The Day I Tried To Live: A Modern Pilgrimage from Desperation to Transformation.”
The music of Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and more will he explored through the lens of Scripture, patristic writings, the Sacraments and Orthodox Spirituality.


BROWN BAG MINISTRY Our Nov/Dec effort will focus on “Comfort Foods” (soups, pastas, etc.) to benefit the Boston Rescue Mission.
Drop-off bins and extra bags are at the front and rear entrances of the Church.
